Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania (GSHPA) partnered with the Pennsylvania Commission for Women to provide an evening of STEM learning on Nov. 16. The Women in STEM event brought Girl Scouts to the Pennsylvania State Museum to participate in STEM activities and learn more about STEM careers.
From microscopy, to fossils, to robotics and simple coding, girls engaged in a variety of hands-on STEM activities provided by the State Library of Pennsylvania.
Gov. Tom Wolf and First Lady Frances Wolf addressed Girl Scouts via video message and Janet Donovan, GSHPA President and CEO, spoke to the girls as well.
