Get ready to rally for cookies in Wilkes Barre!

By Catherine Amoriello

We’re gearing up for our first GSHPA Cookie Rally in the northeast since 2020!

Get crafty at the rally by making a coffee filter dolphin craft.

All registered Girl Scouts, troop leaders, volunteers, and parents/caregivers in our council are invited to attend this sweet event on Feb. 12, 2023, from 10 a.m. to noon. Stop by and participate in a variety of cookie-themed activities including a self station photo booth, games, crafts, cookie tastings, and an information station with a recycling focus. Girls will also have the opportunity to win prizes!

“When I started working at GSHPA in 2020, the first event I assisted with was a cookie rally. It makes me so happy to see girls come together in the area again to have some fun all while learning about cookies!” said Gina Naticchi, a GSHPA Volunteer Support Coordinator assisting with coordinating the rally.

Rally-goers will get to make and take home their own mini cookie booth craft.

“The Girl Scout Cookie Program gives girls real world experience and helps them learn skills like goal setting, decision making, money management, business ethics, and people skills. This rally is a great opportunity for girls to explore the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world all while having fun alongside their Girl Scout sisters,” said Jessica Mislinski, GSHPA Director of Product Program and Retail.

Register for the rally by Feb. 9, purchase some cookie swag, and look forward to a morning of cookie-filled fun in northeast Pennsylvania!
