Girl Scouts get festive for GSHPA Spirit Week!

Last week Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania (GSHPA) hosted a Spirit Week to celebrate Girl Scout Week 2023.

We encouraged our members to celebrate each day from March 12-18 with a variety of themes and activities that explored the multiple aspects of Girl Scouting. We asked our girls and volunteers to share their celebrations with us on social media and they did not disappoint!

Girl Scouts’ Birthday/Girl Scout Sunday

Girl Scouts and volunteers celebrated Girl Scouts’ birthday and Girl Scout Sunday on March 12 with celebrations and faith-based activities.

Troop 62026, Lycoming County – Girl Scout Daisy Madison delivered a package of Caramel Chocolate Chip cookies to her gluten-free friend Claire.
Troop 52299, Monroe County – A troop invited all uniformed personnel and first responders to visit their cookie booth.

1-1-1 Birthday Challenge

In honor of Girl Scouts’ 111th birthday, we challenged Girl Scouts to share one thing they learned in Girl Scouts, the name of one friend they made through Girl Scouts, and one thing they love about Girl Scouts.
