Decades of dedication to Girl Scouts at Willow Valley

Girl Scout history took the spotlight at an event to celebrate our organization in Lancaster. Residents of Willow Valley Communities gathered recently to share stories, sing Girl Scout songs, and recall the impact Girl Scouts has had on their lives.

The event included a presentation of a historical film about the Girl Scout organization, and attendees enjoyed remarks from members of Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania.

Tables showcased memorabilia from Girl Scout days gone by, and everyone enjoyed indulging in some Girl Scout Cookies!

Flora Poulos, who has been a Girl Scout for more than 75 years, and Linda Davis coordinated the event, designed to coincide with the 112th birthday of Girl Scouts and to provide an opportunity for women to celebrate the life-long influence of Girl Scouts.
